About Me
I’m Lisa Yuan, an independent consultant specializing in strategy, FP&A, and data analytics for education institutions and impact-driven organizations. With experience spanning education consulting, Big Four accounting, and financial advisory, I help institutions, business officers, and investors make data-driven decisions to optimize resources, improve forecasting, and drive sustainable growth.
Previously, I was a Senior Principal Consultant at Tyton Partners, where I led strategy and commercial due diligence projects for K-12, higher ed, and workforce clients. I’ve worked closely with institution leadership, private equity firms, and education technology companies, delivering insights that shape business strategy, pricing models, and financial planning. I began my career with five years in the Big Four accounting industry as a California-licensed CPA.
I hold an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, a Master of Accounting degree from Ross School of Business at University of Michigan, and Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Science in Psychology degrees from Peking University.
